Choozy Suzy rates the ugly sox

Fox River Sox are great for outdoorsy types; that’s me. But these are dreamy to wear on gloomy grey days, when all I want do is sit and sag, and drink tea in my jammies.
I’d send a picture, but if I did someone would think I was an escapee from an
old folks home. I’m 80. Even so, Fox River Sox, my faves, keep me wobbling around.

Comfortable but not satisfied

When I wore these socks for the first time, I put the socks on at 9am, wore Timberland work boots for the duration, and took off my socks at 8pm. During this 11-hour period, the socks were comfortable and kept my feet very warm. The sock area around the calf did slide down and bunch up around the top of the boot. I was most disappointed when I removed my socks and discovered significant pilling around the friction points of my foot and the boot. Only after one wear period, the sock looks dingy and all fuzzed up. Despite this sock being very thick and mostly comfortable to wear, I don't think it would hold up for a long time.

No worries about durability

Husband wears a hard-to-find size 15 sock. Had ordered from GoBros before & was pleased to find these. These Fox River socks were exactly what he wanted & they fit great. Kept his feet warm on a cold, wet hunting day. Since they are GoBros, I have no worries about their durability. Always shop GoBros first!
